BY ROAD:

Minehead is located on the A39. Leave the M5 at Junction 24 (Bridgwater) and follow the A39 along the coast to Minehead. Alternatively, leave the M5 at Junction 25 (Taunton) and follow the signs to Minehead via the A358 from Taunton to Williton and then the A39 from Williton to Minehead.

On reaching Minehead, make for the sea front. As you approach Tesco you will see our hotel (a large white building with a grey roof) perched on the side of North Hill level with St Michael's Church. Drive along the seafront and into the Avenue (the high street) and continue until you reach WH Smith. Turn right opposite into Blenheim Rd and take the fork uphill into Martlett Road (signposted North Hill). Continue uphill to the sharp left-hand bend around the war memorial and Marston Lodge is 100 yards on the right (if you reach St. Michael’s Church you have gone too far).

FINDING US BY POSTCODE / SATELITTE NAVIGATION:

An increasing number of guests have trouble reaching us after following directions from an Internet service or their satellite navigation. While these methods will certainly get you to Minehead, once here they lead (eventually) up a wholly inaccessible footpath! Once you reach Minehead, please follow our directions for a stress-free end to your journey.

BY RAIL:

Taunton is the nearest main-line railway station and there are regular buses to Minehead departing from Taunton station. Alternatively, The West Somerset Railway operates steam and diesel services between Bishops Lydeard and Minehead from March to October.
